2. Description of Service

VidSnap provides an AI-powered service that generates intelligent summaries of YouTube videos. The Service extracts key insights, quotes, and strategic information from video content, provides transcription, and enables you to ask questions about video content. You understand that results are generated by automated AI technology and may not always be complete or accurate. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and to maintain and update this information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and confidential, and you are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. We will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your credentials or maintain the confidentiality of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, to respect YouTube's Terms of Service, and to only process videos that you have the right to access. The Service may only be used for lawful purposes. You agree NOT to:

  • Process illegal, harmful, or offensive content;
  • Share your login credentials with others;
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits, payment requirements, or other restrictions;
  • Violate the intellectual property or other rights of any third party;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service;
  • Access the Service through automated means without authorization; or
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its servers, or connected networks.

5. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain all rights to the summaries and transcripts generated through your use of the Service.

Our Service: The Service, including its software, algorithms, design, and branding, is owned by VidSnap and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. This license permits us to process videos on your behalf solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

6. Payment Terms

The Service is offered on both free and paid plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance using the payment methods displayed at checkout. Credits are allocated per tier and renew at the start of each billing period. Unless otherwise required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change prices from time to time, and we will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price change. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. If a payment fails, we may suspend access to your account; repeated payment failures may result in termination of your account.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated summaries, uninterrupted access to the Service, correction of defects, or that the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components. To the maximum extent permitted by law, VidSnap shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion and without notice, including but not limited to cases of violation of these Terms, harmful conduct, illegal activity, or fraud. Upon termination, your access to the Service ceases. We may delete your account and associated data and retain only what is required by law.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page, notify you of material changes, and provide you with an opportunity to review them. Your continued use of the Service after any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. General Provisions

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which VidSnap operates. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and VidSnap regarding your use of the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
